The Micro Cabin is nestled on a heritage homestead surrounded by lush gardens and towering cedars. It’s tiny, but fully functional, with just enough room for all the amenities you need. With views of lush nature out every window, you’ll feel like you’re outdoors even though you’re inside. Even on the hottest of days, the Micro Cabin stays nice and cool in its central spot, shaded by the trees. During the winter months, the cabin is cozy and quiet; a toasty little refuge where you can snuggle down and decompress. Take a stroll down the street to the beach, choose an activity and adventure into the outdoors, or take advantage of the gardens & the property to simply reconnect with nature. We are located in a quiet neighbourhood, with the ocean and the heart of Roberts Creek just two minutes away.
The small footprint of the cabin gives a cozy experience. Outside there is plenty of space to relax, with a lovely picnic table, bench, and Adirondack chairs. A perfect size for a quiet retreat and simplistic stay.
The kitchen is well-stocked with a two-burner electric hotplate and all that you need to make something delicious. The functional cooking space has a high counter, with shelves underneath to store kitchenware and cooking utensils.
Climb up the ladder to the sleeping loft and into the comfiest double bed in the world. Snuggle up in 100% cotton linens that ensure a good night’s sleep and pretend that you’re in a treehouse for the night!

Tucked into the garden, the Micro Cabin is yours to dream in and to escape the outer world from. Roberts Creek Beach, Yoga by the Sea, and the peaceful forest paths and waterfalls of Cliff Gilker Park are just a two-minute drive away. Or, walk or drive to the private and secluded Marlene Beach just down the street. If you need any last-minute essentials, the Roberts Creek General Store has it all, including cold wine and beer — or the IGA grocery store in Wilson Creek is only minutes away.
There are plenty of trails to explore nearby, or just enjoy the peace & quiet outside the cabin. It is a quick drive to the sandy shores of Davis Bay — or stay in the Creek and check out the Pier and community Mandala which is hand painted each year by all of us! A 6-minute bike ride takes you to the heart of Roberts Creek and to the coolest organic coffee bar – The Gumboot Cafe – who serves up great coffee, house-baked sweets, homemade soups, sandwiches, and more. We love Roberts Creek, it’s a whimsical ocean-side haven for nature lovers, artists, and forward thinkers. If you consider yourself any of these, you’ll fit right in! Come join us — this is a perfect spot to disconnect from city life and relax.
The space is small but bright and airy, with high ceilings and lots of windows and natural light. We think you’ll find it to be carefully laid out and thoughtfully appointed. There is plenty of outdoor space here on our private acreage to sit and daydream or finally start writing that novel. Relax at the picnic table with a mug of hot tea and watch the sunrise or gaze at the stars.

Cosy, close to the beach and surrounded by nature. Bed was super comfy and felt very cosy.VerifiedSteveSeptember 19, 2023Very clean. In a nice country setting. Acknowledging that it is a 'micro' cabin, it is best suited to when the weather is good and your out exploring etc most of the time. My only criticism is maybe the bathroom. A bit challenging to take a shower in and separated by only a curtain to the kitchen area. Very cute and maximizes the limited footprint.VerifiedRomySeptember 18, 2023We enjoyed our stay in the micro cabin and everything was fine with the accomodationVerifiedGabrielSeptember 13, 2023Karen was really nice and the micro house was really cozy. Great bed and pillows. Would stay again.
The Micro Cabin is nestled on our heritage homestead, surrounded by lush gardens and towering cedars. We have a vibrant orchard and grow asparagus, blueberries, raspberries, rhubarb, and much more. We raise chickens and turkeys too! We have been hosting guests for nearly 10 years, and one of the things we like best is meeting people from all over the world. During your stay with us, Rosie, our little spaniel mutt might come for a visit. She takes her job as welcoming committee and cabin mascot very seriously! And while we respect our guests’ privacy, we are always happy to meet and share the ‘insider scoop’ on things to do in Roberts Creek and on the Sunshine Coast.
We are very proud to be one of the highest-rated listings and one of only a handful of Airbnb-verified properties on the Sunshine Coast. Our Micro Cabin has been featured in Canadian Living magazine, Explore Magazine, Cottage Living magazine, and listed on 604now’s Bucket List.
